3 thieves tried to deprive a 77-year-old woman of money and immediately regretted it

For each of us, grandparents are one of the closest and most loved people on earth.

Who else but a grandma will care about how and how much you eat, ask how you are doing, care about success in school, college, and work.

Who, if not a grandfather, will show how to handle tools or tell a funny story of life, sharing the experience of years past.

But we all remember very well from childhood that it is better not to upset our beloved grandparents. Otherwise, it will be bad luck.

And it is this main rule that the three men have forgotten. They decided they could easily take the money away from 77-year-old Winifred Peel.

As the woman, walking to the ATM, entered the PIN to withdraw cash, a stranger approached from behind.

She noticed it immediately, but was not indignant. It ended with two other guys approaching her, throwing her to the ground, and the third one took the withdrawal of money from her account.

The thieves believed in success too soon and switched to an ATM. At this time, the woman managed to quickly get up and immediately took decisive action, not wanting all the funds she had accumulated to fall into the hands of evildoers.

She attacked from behind and, grabbing one of the guys by the collar, forcefully put her head on the ATM.

The guys were clearly not ready for such a reaction. Thus, the remaining two did not attack the old woman again, but fled in a panic.

As their partner managed to break free, the grandmother at least three more times made sure her face met the ATM screen.

She contacted the police, describing everything in detail. In the evening, the criminals were arrested.

It was possible to find and prosecute the criminals so quickly thanks to the marks that the woman inflicted on one of them.

None of the three pleaded guilty. Turns out the backcountry guys came to town to make some extra money. But honest work was not for them.

As for Winiferd, sadly, she now fears a repeat of the situation and says it’s unlikely she’ll ever feel safe. The woman grew up in a family where, in addition to her, there were four older brothers. And also in her youth, she regularly visited the gymnasium, which helped her to quickly cope with thieves.
