93-year-old grandmother asked to buy beer and became popular during quarantine

During self-isolation, everyone was enjoying themselves as best they could – some, for example, spent the evening with a pot of their favorite beer. One of the drink’s enthusiasts was a woman named Olive Veronesi. The woman was at home in isolation and does not shop herself.

At some point Olive’s supplies ran out and she decided to communicate it with a piece of paper that read “I need more beer!!” “.Olive Veronesi, 93, from the US state of Pennsylvania, stocked up on beer during self-isolation, but it turned out the drink might not be enough for her.

Then the woman asked for help from her daughter, who had just visited her – a picture of Olive with a can and a sign “I need more beer!!” immediately spread on the Internet. Due  to Olive’s popularity, her request was seen by the brewers of her favorite beer.

A pot of which Olive was photographed, noticed her elderly fan and decided to please her. A company representative said they decided to thank the woman for liking their product: When we saw Olive’s request, we knew we had to take this opportunity to connect with the one who made us smile.

As a gift, Olive immediately received 150 cans of beer! These supplies of Olive should last until the end of the quarantine – even despite the fact that she drinks a can a day. According to Olive, beer is useful if not abused – she thinks there are vitamins in the drink. Even though Olive quickly handled so many beers, the company promised to bring her more. So a woman doesn’t have to worry about having to miss a drink again and standing in the doorway with a piece of paper.
