A kind-hearted Brazilian priest allows homeless dogs into his church for a noble purpose.

Every homeless dog living in Gravatá, Pernambuco, Brazil, knows that they will always have a roof over their heads and some food when needed, perhaps even owners!

The reason for this is an incredible human being, a priest named João Paulo. He has such a deep love for dogs that the doors of his church are always open to these four-legged orphans. According to João, he adored animals since childhood but never had a significant opportunity to help them. When he grew up, he began to do exactly that, helping the homeless creatures.

Today, the dogs that come to João are truly fortunate because the priest takes them into the church. This is not just to help them leave behind their street life but also to find them new homes. During mass, when the faithful come to the service, the four-legged friends join in. They can quietly walk along the rows where people sit or peacefully sleep in a corner. Sometimes the dogs even approach the place where the good-hearted priest is, and he never denies them affection.

João believes that animals are true angelic creatures because they are entirely innocent and sincere. That’s why he is delighted when someone from the congregation takes home a dog they’ve become attached to. At such times, the priest feels he has truly done a good deed – he has helped a homeless animal find loving owners.

In the case that a dog is ill, the clergyman takes them to a veterinarian to receive treatment. If no one rushes to adopt a particular dog, João finds a place for them in his own home.

Many people know about this kind-hearted priest, especially those who frequently visit the church. The man has his profiles on Instagram and Facebook, where he shares photos of his four-legged charges. He often reaches out to social media users, asking for help to find a home for one dog or another, and people never cease to be amazed by the priest’s kindness.

We genuinely sympathize with this charming and cheerful individual!
