Augustine Higuera has 14 children, all girls. The 29-year-old mother and wife from Paris, Texas, made an incredible vow to herself and her husband.
Augustine decided that her family would continue to grow until she gave birth to a son.
Her story is still captivating and amazing. Augustina Belicia’s first daughter was born to her first husband. Then three more girls were born, but that was just the beginning.
Over the years, Augustine tried all kinds of contraception, but none of them were effective. Each pregnancy was a surprise for her.
Then Augustine divorced her husband and met José, her second husband. They had two girls two years apart. But 6 years ago, Augustine found out that she was pregnant again, but now she had twins.
She was sure that this time one of the babies would be a boy. Even doctors said that the likelihood that it will be a boy and a girl is much greater than that it will be same-sex twins.
Augustine not only found out that both fetuses were girls, but soon did something that happens only once in 500,000 cases.

She not only gave birth to so many children, but at the age of 29, Augustine did the unthinkable and gave birth to twins three times, which happens only once in 500,000 cases.
A mother and wife from Paris, Texas, has promised to have children until she has a long-awaited boy.
Despite her hectic and exhausting lifestyle, Augustine says she doesn’t want to change anything. As a child, she always looked after her younger brothers and sisters, so becoming a mother was her dream.
When Augustine realized that she was pregnant, she was sincerely happy about it every time.
Augustine’s day consists of 42 laundry, cooking 8 different meals, and only 2 hours of sleep.
While Augustina looks after the children (and she takes them to school in a minibus), her husband José works 7 days a week.
To provide for his family, José works hard at a landscaping firm.
The first daughter of Augustina Belicia was born from her first husband.
Then came Nielli, 13, Liliana, 12, and Vanessa, 11.
“Every time I realized I was pregnant, I was shocked,” Augustine said. I tried all kinds of contraception, but something always went wrong.”
With each pregnancy, she was in seventh heaven with happiness.
After Augustina met her second husband José, they had Daniela, now 9 years old.
Then Zilla was born, she is already 7 years old.
Six years ago, Augustina and José learned that they would have a child again, but this time with twins.
Augustine was sure that at least one of the children would be a boy. Moreover, the doctors said that she was more likely to have a boy and a girl than same-sex children.
However, the twins were both girls. After the birth of Luzelena and Marielena, 6 years old, Analilia, 4 years old, and Aravelia, 2 years old, were also born.
After 3 months, Augustine again had a positive pregnancy test.
The girls were only a few weeks old when Augustine was pregnant again!
It was twins again … and girls again!
The doctors told her that she would rather win the lottery than get pregnant again.

Augustina says she is currently on birth control but wants to have more children when her younger twins are 4 years old.
She thinks it would be great to have a son, especially her husband would be happy about it.
“I have no limit on how many children I would like,” Augustine said. “I would give birth to 10 more children if they were boys.”
Having 14 children and counting them every time is a difficult undertaking, however, Augustina and José seem to be doing a great job of it.
