Everyone thought that this dog would die, but thanks to one kind person the dog was given second breath

Police from the Austin, Texas Animal Welfare Center were called to this dog by neighbors. They thought the dog was dead and feared that his remains would attract wild animals. However, the puppy, locked in a metal cage, was, although exhausted to the last degree, still alive.

Even veterinarians believed that a starving dog would not survive. Only one person believed in her – and the dog decided to live, no
matter what!

In the fall, the Austin, Texas homeless animal rescue service received a call from concerned locals. They reported what they believed to be a dead dog lying in an iron cage soiled with feces. When the animal rights activists arrived at the given address, they saw the dog – emaciated and emaciated,

stained with feces and motionless, but, to everyone’s surprise, still alive. When Animal Rescue Detective Eva realized the dog was alive, she rushed him to the veterinary clinic. “Her body temperature was so low that the thermometer did not record it. And she could not move at all,” says Eva. “Honestly, we didn’t think she would survive,” admits an animal welfare policeman.

Veterinarian Elizabeth Manser bathed the dog in a warm bath and heated it for a long time with a hairdryer to raise its body temperature. “I talked to her all the time,” says Elizabeth. “She was wet, she was cold… and she kept looking at me with pleading eyes.” “Everyone said she was going to die, and only I told her over and over again that everything  would be all right,” says Elizabeth.
When the dog got better, Elizabeth Manser gave her the nickname Sophie and took her into her house. “She will never starve again and never freeze!” – says the new mistress Sophie.
