Two from the chest, so different in appearance (Yes, yes, these are my girls. At the time of discharge, they were 3246g – 51cm/2745g-49cm)

Hello everyone! Today I would like to share our experience of organizing life with the arrival of babies. There won’t be any special life hacks about umbilical cord care or the first bath, because I didn’t have that. My little girls were born on January 31, 2023, at 5:29 and 5:30 in the morning, and everything would have been fine, but they decided that it was time for them at 34.4 weeks. But the girls were quite mature, so much so that they put the term at 35.6. And everything would have been fine if at the moment of contractions I hadn’t burst a cyst and Lizaveta hadn’t swallowed all this muck
(((as a result – resuscitation, artificial lung ventilation, but after a couple of days, everything normalized. Sofia was fine, she just needed to gain weight. My little ones were born 47 cm and 2870g / 44 cm and 2360g. And if I was shown Sofia right away, I saw Lizaveta for the first time on the 21st day. During those days, I learned an unreal amount of prayers and met amazing people) And I could have seen the girls much earlier if I hadn’t managed to get COVID in the maternity hospital. And here we are, home on day 21! Hooray! And most importantly, I managed to maintain breastfeeding, keep it up to 4 months. (In the maternity hospital, I expressed milk every 3 hours, but since I was in observation, I expressed it manually, on diapers)

In two months, the girls had already gained well – one 5005g, the other – 4675g
Our 2 months looked something like this))) it was veeery interesting, but also very hard. I tried to stick to a strict interval between feedings, despite breastfeeding. By the way, feeding both at the same time in the plank position is very useful for the figure (I turned on a series, laid the children down, got into the plank on my knees… just for the series) Colic mainly bothered Sofia and lasted until 4 months. During this time, we hardly went for walks, I was afraid to dress them alone (will they freeze, will they get too hot, how to handle this huge stroller, and so on. We bathed once or twice a week, because it was a wild stress for all of us – they screamed, freaked out, turned blue, turned red, and I just washed them. During this time, I didn’t do any housework or cooking – I was saved by delivery. Fortunately, this month passed quickly. The main problem was that I didn’t see the children in the maternity hospital, they just gave them to me, and I took them for the first time when I was discharged.
One on my arms, the other on my knees and rock-a-bye))))
What chubby cheeks) 6350g and 5680g
What is 3 months.. this is a very important stage! By this time, it became not easier, but more familiar… We still lived by the clock, by the regime. Well, more precisely, I lived, and the children resisted, especially at night. Sofia continued to suffer from colic, she was given a hot water bottle, and a warm diaper, and she was carried in her arms, and all possible drops, syrups… Liza’s tummy didn’t bother her so much, but there were periodic constipation.
About sleep – Lisa slept much more than Sofia, both during the day and at night. Sofia still had to be put to sleep. I often rocked both in the stroller. By 2.5 months, I got used to it and we walked CONSTANTLY. At any tears – put the children in the envelope, in the blanket, in the stroller, and go for a walk. The girls slept there and could adjust their schedule – they fell asleep when they went out, woke up when they got home.

holding their little heads and everything around is so interesting)
About leisure – WB lasted about an hour, sometimes an hour and a half. During this time, I had to manage to lay them on the roller + massage and exercises – min 20, and the same with the second – already 40, play for min 10, feed and put them to sleep for min 20. One had increased muscle tone and torticollis, the other had decreased muscle tone, so three times a day we did exercises. They still didn’t know the TV.
About food – everything is fine here) breast milk and I started adding formula + started getting them used to water, by spoon after eating and after sleeping. I fed STRICTLY at an interval of 3 hours, with a maximum spread of min 5. It was difficult at night when Sofia woke up at 2.20-2.30 and asked to eat. At first, I walked with her in my arms until 3, then fed her for 20 minutes, and then carried each for another 10 minutes.
