This wonderful old man is an ordinary pensioner who lives in France, in Lyon. He enjoys walking in the fresh air, fishing and, in his spare time, cuts out beautiful pictures from paper. It’s such a gem and flawless workmanship, it’s hard to believe it was made by a human.
And it is even more surprising that it is only a hobby for him and that he has no professional training for it. It takes about 8-80 hours for Viktor to create such an image, but this is not surprising, since there are many small, subtle details in each drawing.
Viktor carves all of his paintings by hand, using a chisel. He very skillfully selects every brick, every twig, even the thinnest, and it seems a miracle that he succeeds, he does not touch anything superfluous. It’s such meticulous work, that’s where it really takes a lot of patience.
