A couple from the UK, Emma and Craig Parker, tried to know the happiness of being parents for 6 years. And only in the New Year 2018, a real miracle knocked on them – Emma gave birth to a healthy baby after 8 failed pregnancies. Emma spoke about what she had to endure before the birth of her first child. For 6 years, the woman had 8 pregnancies, but none of them had a successful outcome. Emma lost her children one after another, and this made her think that she could never become a mother. Miscarriages occurred due to the woman’s health – pregnancies most often failed at 14-18 weeks.
Emma made two artificial inseminations, which also ended unsuccessfully. However, we continued to worry about the feeling of concern for the life of our baby. And only after the 20th week of pregnancy, we became a little calmer in our souls, ”said Emma.
Emma’s birth was scheduled for January 9-10, but on the eve of the New Year, something went wrong. The woman’s health problems worsened and the doctors had to perform a cesarean section. Everything ended well: on the morning of January 1, a healthy and rather large (more than 3.5 kg!) boy was born. Happy parents named their son Charlie.
“We wanted to get him home as soon as possible!” Emma and Craig Parkers shared their joy.
Unfortunately, only an elderly grandfather, Emma’s father, Derrick, was waiting for the baby from his parents at home. Her mother, Alma, died a year ago, just before the New Year. She never saw her long-awaited grandson.
It should be noted that Charlie’s parents gave the boy a middle name – Al-Derrick; in honor of his grandparents. Now baby Charlie and his mother have already been discharged from the hospital – everything is fine with them!
