Parents lost three children in a car accident. A year later a miracle happened

On this day, little Kylie was especially happy. His long-awaited fifth birthday finally arrived and promised to be as wonderful as ever. Kylie had two sisters, four-year-old Emma and two-year-old Kathy, whom he selflessly took care of at such a young age.

It is hard to describe how happy the children were when they found out that Mom Lori and Grandma Cindy decided to go to the fair with them on this special day. There, the little ones could play with animals in the petting zoo and ride their favorite Ferris wheel. The day was unforgettable. From irrepressible joy and a sea of impressions, Kylie and Emma fell asleep right in the car on the way home.

Little Katie, left alone, began to act up and clearly demand the attention of her mother. Stopping in traffic, Laurie gently tickled her leg. It was the last time she heard her daughter laugh.

Suddenly, a truck crashed into the car and rammed it at speed. Mom and grandmother immediately lost consciousness.

The children were so badly injured that they should have rushed to the hospital immediately. Chris, the father of three children, having learned about everything, rushed to the hospital. Both little girls were dead.

Parents still hoped for Kylie, but after such injuries, he had no chance of life. With a stone in their hearts and with tears in their eyes, the parents had to turn off the devices that artificially supported the life of their son.

Lori and Chris watched their little one fade away for several minutes. “I had my hand on his chest when his heart stopped,” Chris said, “then he was gone.” The family only realized their loss when they saw Kylie, Katie and Emma at the funeral. After looking at them for the last time, the parents put the children in small coffins. The pain was unbearable.

Children’s laughter was always heard in the area of Laurie and Chris. Joyful and innocent, the guys often played at their house, and knocked on their door, hoping to beg for something on Halloween. Memory, heartbreak, guilt – all this tormented the former parents too much. However, the couple decided not to commit suicide in any case. Even when suicide seems to be the only way out.

“At some point, you just want to break out of this grief. You want to kill yourself, thinking that you will find yourself next to the children again,” Chris said, “but we promised never to leave each other.” 6_result This decision was followed by the next – the parents again wanted to have children. “We told everyone that we were childless,” Chris said.

They performed artificial insemination, which resulted in two girls and a boy. Emma, Katie and Kylie. The couple wanted only one child, but when they saw the fertilized cells, they realized it was a sign. Ashley, Ellie and Jake are triplets who were born a year after the death of Kylie, Emma and Katie.

“They will never replace Kylie, Emma and Katie,” Laurie said, “but we have joy in the house again, joy in our hearts. They fill our lives again with love, happiness and laughter.” The triplets know that there were three other children in the family before them.

Their photographs hang throughout the house and are often accompanied by captivating stories of mom and dad. Kids go with their parents even to the cemetery, where the family sometimes arranges picnics. There they are all together. There Kylie, Emma and Kathy will never be forgotten. The tragedy of this family brings to tears. Wounds will never be fully healed, memories will never be erased. But the triplets, born a year later, again give their parents happiness and light, for which life is worth living.
