Anthony Gaskin, a courier from the US state of Virginia, has become one of the heroes of his city. In the midst of a pandemic, he was not afraid to deliver orders, he took everything to the destination and closed about 180 pieces.
The people of the Hallsley area where he worked decided to express their gratitude. So one of Anthony’s seemingly simple working days became truly special. The townspeople organized a flash mob. To do this, they went out into the street where Mr. Gaskin lives with posters in his support, applauded for a long time and thanked Anthony for his dangerous work.
“We appreciate his hard work and dedication during the pandemic. Thanks to him, at-risk families received food, supplies and even New Year’s gifts,” said the residents of Hallsley.
The man who saw the flash mob, who had just arrived in his van, could not hold back his tears. He did not expect that his neighbors and superiors would thank him; at the end of the flash mob, he received a gift from his management. Anthony’s story proved that in difficult times of a pandemic, even an ordinary courier can become a hero. He is a great example of humanity for others.
