She took a girl from the maternity hospital. Not her own, but a rejected one. But she didn’t expect such a reaction from her husband.

My friend adopted a little girl from the maternity hospital, a girl whom others had rejected. She wanted to take a child who had been abandoned to give her all her love. You see, Karina had a son, and during childbirth, doctors said he was sick, that he wouldn’t live long.

Yet, thanks to Karina’s love and care, he lived longer than predicted. He grew up, got married, and experienced a short but fulfilling family life. Karina peacefully bid farewell to her son, as she was prepared for it, praying for his soul.

The girl they adopted later brought immense happiness. The husband also eagerly wanted the girl and was overjoyed. Bringing her home reignited happiness in their household. The parents loved the girl deeply, and she reciprocated that love. After some time, the girl learned she wasn’t their biological daughter.
However, it didn’t hinder her love for them because they gave her all their affection. The girl grew up, got married, and moved on with her life. My friend and her husband found it difficult to be without their daughter once again, and they felt the emptiness in their hearts.

Nastya, the adopted daughter, moved to another city with her husband, living her own life. Karina occasionally visited them, but the void in her soul persisted. One day, on my friend’s birthday, Nastya called to share the news that she was pregnant.
Overjoyed, my friend found peace at the thought of having a little one in the house again. A baby boy was born, and when they were leaving the maternity hospital, my friend was in the hospital. Nastya expressed her intention to name the child after her deceased brother.

My friend burst into tears of joy, but Nastya told her it wasn’t the time for tears. She handed her grandson to my friend, asking her to hold him while she drank tea because she would need to feed the baby soon. The new grandmother assured them she would always be there to help, supporting them throughout their lives.
