She went for an ultrasound to allay her fears. But the results made the doctors turn pale

Lily Murno and Brody Moles – a young couple from Australia – were looking forward to the birth of their son. They even chose a name for him in advance – Lennox. But at the 24th week of pregnancy, Lilly suddenly felt unwell.

To dispel the terrible suspicions, she hurried to the doctor. But, alas, her fears were confirmed. Seeing the results of the ultrasound, the doctors turned pale: the child had heart rhythm disturbances. Doctors came to the conclusion that the unborn baby suffers from heart disease and needs immediate treatment. Lily, who just wanted to make sure that everything was in order, heard the terrible news: you need to give birth now.

The young parents were very scared. Doctors have warned that the premature baby may not survive. At birth, he weighed only 800 grams. Immediately after birth, the doctors wrapped the baby in a special film. “It looked like they put it in a baking bag,” Lily recalls.

This film helps the child maintain normal body temperature, because the organs of a child born at such an early date cannot independently regulate the temperature. For a long time, little Lennox spent in an incubator, connected to wires and tubes. And yet it is amazing what modern medicine is capable of.

The baby, who was born so tiny and spent the first four months in the hospital, is unrecognisable. Lennox is strong and mature, but he still spends a lot of time in the hospital. Because of this, Lily can no longer work. Yes, and Brody is forced to spend a lot of time with his family, because they have three older children.

Over time, young parents were forced to admit that they had financial problems: it was difficult for them to pay the bills for treatment, but they could not take their son away either – it was too dangerous. It got to the point that Lily was forced to leave the child alone in the hospital, so as not to overpay for the hospital.

When there was no money left at all, Lily and Brody decided to try the last resort – to ask kind people from all over the world for help. Their story quickly spread across the Internet, and soon money began to flow into the account of young parents.

In just a month, they raised $5,000 for their son’s treatment and hurried to publish new photos, details and, of course, words of gratitude to everyone who helped them. Lennox continues to get prettier to the delight of his family. They affectionately call him “miracle child.” Thanks to the skill of doctors, the courage of his family and the kindness of strangers, little Lennox is already out of danger. What could be more beautiful
