Stray dog crashes into couple’s wedding and becomes part of their family

The same day Douglas Robert and Tamíris Muzini got married, their young family grew by a year. The new addition was someone the couple didn’t expect. It was someone they had just met.

When the beaming bride Muzini arrived at the church in Brazil where her wedding was to take place, she spotted a stray dog mingling with the gathered guests. The puppy’s appearance there was random – but for her, he was an ideal marriage breaker.

” I was surprised. I thought, “Look, there’s a dog inside the church,” Muzini said. “My heart melted. » As the ceremony began, the dog continued to linger, watching from the doorway as Muzini and Robert exchanged vows.It was as if he knew all along what was going to happen next.

When the ceremony ended and the couple officially married, the sweet stray became excited. As Muzini and her husband walked out of the church, the puppy was there to greet them.

The newlyweds were touched. But, mixed in with what sounded like wishes from the random dog, there was another message from the heart.”When he greeted us at the end, he asked, ‘Take me home. Take me away,'” Muzini said. It was a message that did not fall on deaf ears.

At that point, Muzini and her husband decided to adopt the dog, adding a third to the union they had just formed together. It turns out that would also be the puppy’s big day. The couple named the dog Braiá Caramelo, pledging to love and care for him forever. Judging by the signs of past injuries, the road leading up to that moment hadn’t been easy – but now that’s all behind him.

“He is so loving. Despite everything he has been through, he still believes in the goodness of people,” Muzini said. “He gives us hope. » Braiá Caramelo is settling well into her new life with Muzini and her husband. And while hopefully many years of joy await the three, it’s clear he’s already found his happy ending.“He is very happy, very energetic and full of life,” Muzini said.
