The parents, who are expecting a second child, decided to entrust the decision to their daughter and simply handed her paints and brushes. And the end result is a masterpiece. A small but important digression. No one in the Dalton family really knew how to work with his hands, they were purely urban residents and sincerely rejoiced at the opportunity for the first time in their lives to do something of their own, on their own land and in their own, not rented house.
This is also true for young Maya – she had only a brief experience in drawing and the girl does not have any professional skills. But parents believe that the main thing is to give them the opportunity to independently explore and change the world, and the rest is a matter of technology.
They stretched the canvas on the grass, prepared the paint, and showed Maya how to dip the brush and make the first strokes. Everything, further itself, draw what the soul desires. And then the parents watched with tenderness as the daughter began to create her first big picture. She didn’t smudge in paint like most children, but incredibly thoughtfully combined shades and slapped bright spots on a white base.
Most of all, Maya, according to her father, liked mixing paint and creating new shades. She works in an “abstract style”, but this is only because, due to her young age, she has not yet fallen under the influence of other artists and creates without restrictions and conventions. It sounds funny, but in fact it is – no one showed the girl what and how to draw, this is pure creativity “from the head”.
The most interesting thing about everything is that 16-month-old Maya is not just having fun, but really painting pictures. She remembers where and how she left the smear, recognizes her works hung on the walls and is clearly proud, happy when guests discuss them. It should not be ruled out that we see the formation of the future great artist.
