A couple was thrilled to welcome their third child into the world. However, her hair color left them and their doctors at a loss for words.
A hospital in Székesfehérvár, Hungary, was abuzz with the news of the birth of a baby boy. Mum Klaudia and Dad Tamas adored little Bence from the first moment they held him in their arms and they immediately realized he was a special boy.
The December 2015 birth brought lots of laughs in the family’s hospital room as staff had never seen a little one who looked like Bence. He had a lot of hair – it was milky white and, according to some people, it looked gray.
The hair color was unusual for a baby, and doctors performed several tests to make sure the child was healthy. They assessed whether her mother was stressed during the pregnancy, as well as various other considerations that could have impacted her appearance.
Luckily, all of the results showed good news and confirmed baby Bence was fit as a fiddle. The 5kg little one was also in no pain and had no genetic disorders or albinism.
While the reasons for Bence’s rare and unexpected stares were yet to be determined, the kid had already gained widespread fame and adoration online. People were amazed by his hair color and many wanted to know more about him.
Curiosity surrounding the child grew and everyone wondered what caused his unique hair color. Amid the excitement, laughter or interest didn’t bother the parents – they were just relieved that little Bence was happy and healthy.
Papa Tamas had blonde hair until he was three years old, but that had nothing to do with Bence’s pale white hair. The child also had shimmering white eyebrows and eyelashes, which made him unique to the hospital.
