An English Pointer named Nora has endured a lot of pain in her life. The dog was taken away from the owners for cruelty. Nora behaved very delicately in the shelter, but she was very afraid of people and unfamiliar objects. She sat in a corner and looked around fearfully.
Elizabeth Spence from Canada saw this beautiful dog with sad eyes and wanted to give her a home and warmth. In the new house, the dog began to slowly gain self-confidence. She is still afraid of people and new objects, but she has found her truest friend.
Little Archie became the meaning of Nora’s life, her light and the only person she was never afraid of. From the first moment Nora met Archie, everyone noticed the connection between them. Now Elizabeth is posting these cute pictures that will melt even the coldest heart.
The Spence family adopted three dogs and three cats from the shelter. But Archie is most attached to Nora, just as she is to him. Elizabeth decided to show people how loving and grateful animals from the shelter can be. Despite everything Nora has gone through, she has remained tender and devoted.
“Many people hesitate to adopt such an animal, but my experience is that rescued dogs can be the most gentle and loving, they deserve a chance at a better life,” says Elizabeth. Of course, the mother does not let her baby out of her sight when the dog lies down next to him. But the dog behaves very gently with the baby.
