Sculptures always enhance the beauty of the environment. Sculptures can also be designed for children, bringing a lot of joy to all the kids.
Artist Carla Gotgenis sculpted oranges found in the Peterson Reserve. Initially, the Melbourne Council opposed such a decision, but after lengthy discussions, the decision was accepted, and $85,000 was invested in the project. Carla sculpted five orange busts.

Everyone loved the work, especially the children, as their visit became fun. Another similar sculpture was installed in the city last year. A good mood runs through these sculptural cities, which is considered a necessity.

The community council wasn’t pleased and believed it lacked taste, but visitors had a different opinion. The number of visitors almost increased, and children enjoy their visits as it’s like a treat for them. They approach the oranges, run around, and it has a positive effect. Recently, pictures appeared on the internet showing a 6-year-old girl playing with the oranges, and she was extremely happy.

Overall, these sculptures have successfully captivated their viewers. These sculptures have spread worldwide at a fast pace, and only positive feedback has been received because such sculptures were only found in playgrounds. This turned out to be a wonderful initiative as children found a fun activity in this field.
