Hairiness is a major issue for many women. Some even feel embarrassed about having body hair. The situation becomes even more complicated when the hairiness is excessive and affects areas such as the face.
The story of Supatra “Natt” Sasuphan, a young woman from Thailand suffering from a rare genetic condition, is quite unusual.
This young woman has a genetic disorder known as Ambras syndrome, also referred to as the werewolf syndrome. Due to the condition, Natt has excessive hair growth all over her body, including her face. In 2010, she was recognized as the hairiest girl in the world by the Guinness World Records.
Natt’s parents feared that she would constantly face mockery and difficulties in her social life. After the diagnosis, they realized that their daughter’s condition was rare and that she might have to live with this amount of hair for her entire life.
Laser hair removal was one of the treatment methods for Natt, but this method only temporarily prevented hair growth, after which the hair grew back much faster and thicker. Natt had to live with and adapt to her hairiness.
Like any parent, Natt’s father hopes that his daughter will one day be cured. But nearly ten years have passed since little Natt was recognized as the hairiest girl, and she has come a long way.
Now Natt is a young woman who has started shaving her face and body and has found the love of her life. She married the man she loves and shares her life with him.
