However, when the lady came to the clinic to do an ultrasound, the doctors told her the terrible news that destroyed all the couple’s dreams.
Grace Baker-Padden and her husband Joe Cowling did not plan a child, and after the wedding they wanted to live for their own pleasure, writes Mirror. However, they had to make adjustments to their life plans when the girl’s belly began to increase in size. Everything went to the fact that replenishment is expected in their family, so the couple began to mentally prepare for this.
Of course, the couple immediately told their parents about this news and made them happy that they would soon become grandparents. Relatives began to guess the sex of the unborn child, and at the same time left a wish about the name. A pleasant atmosphere and expectation of something magical reigned in a large and friendly family. And Grace fondly remembers those wonderful moments.
We were so happy and excited. Our parents couldn’t wait to become grandparents for the first time.
However, not everything turned out to be as joyful as the couple would like. During that period of time, the girl had severe bouts of nausea in the morning, and her general physical condition left much to be desired. Grace constantly experienced a feeling of weakness and malaise, but attributed this to toxicosis, so she did not attach much importance to this.
When the time came for an ultrasound, Joe and Grace immediately went to the clinic to find out the sex of their unborn child. But after the first study, it became clear that everything did not go according to plan. The fact is that instead of a fetus that would have developed in the womb, the nurse saw an incomprehensible clot and immediately ran away for the doctor, leaving the girl and the guy alone. And their thoughts at that moment were far from rosy.
We did not see the shape of the unborn child, it looked more like bunches of grapes.
While waiting for the doctor, the couple began to google this problem and look for an explanation, but they saw an article on the Internet that made them break out in cold sweat.
We looked online and saw that it could be cancer. And they immediately panicked.
Unfortunately, the doctor confirmed their fears, and then announced the need for urgent hospitalization. As a result, the girl spent six months in the clinic and underwent a course of chemotherapy. Despite such a terrible diagnosis, Grace did not say goodbye to life, but, on the contrary, was always positive. All this is thanks to the doctors who gave positive forecasts.
They were sure that I could be cured.
And the experts were right. Every month the lady’s affairs were getting better and better, and the disease receded, but various procedures still affected her general condition.
The treatment left me weak and emaciated. My hair thinned noticeably, but, fortunately, I did not lose it.
After the experience, Joe and Grace still hope to have a baby, but the doctors warned them that in this case, the tumor may appear again.
