Francesca and Lee Moore-Williams have been happily married for several years. The couple has two sweet children: Bobby and Bella. But then no one suspected what kind of life drama would soon play out around their little daughter.
Bella has always been a beacon of light in the family. Surrounded by the love of her parents and brother, she never ceased to please them. At least for the first 18 months. During a family vacation, the girl suddenly fell ill and began to lose her hair. Parents could not understand what had suddenly happened to their little treasure. Immediately after the vacation, Francesca and Lee took the baby to one of the best hospitals in London, where experienced doctors had to share terrible news with their parents.
Having done an MRI, the doctors found some brain anomalies in Bella. Nothing good could mean that. The girl’s condition continued to deteriorate, reaching a critical stage: in order to save Bella’s life, she had to be connected to appliances.
According to medical tests, the baby suffered from a vitamin B12 deficiency. Her body was not able to independently produce the enzymes necessary for the body’s cells to grow healthy.
The rare disease that Bella suffered from affects only 1 in 60,000 children on average. That is why it was almost impossible to cure her. The doctors made it clear to the parents that their daughter would not survive.
Francesca and Lee eventually unanimously decided to turn off their beloved daughter’s appliances so that she would not spend the rest of her life in agony.
On that day, the whole family and close friends gathered at the hospital to say goodbye to Bella. In tears, the parents kissed their baby, preparing to let her go to another world forever. This photo was to be the last memory of their little girl.
“I held her hands, knowing that she was about to draw her last breath,” says Lee. I felt her weakening. But suddenly she grabbed my finger with the same force. Bella’s body temperature suddenly began to rise, she turned pink again, woke up and started screaming .The instruments screeched, the doctors rushed into the ward.
Everyone thought that the little girl would die, but her performance suddenly returned to normal by itself, which was a huge surprise for all the hospital staff.
A few weeks after an intensive course of medication, Bella was finally able to return home. Alive and healthy.
Five months later, Bella looked completely different. Now the baby smiles cheerfully, runs and plays with her friends, and her hair has grown back. Lee and Francesca call their daughter a Christmas miracle, because six months ago no one could have imagined that Bella would still be alive.
