Twin sisters married twin brothers and had sons almost at the same time. We tell how couples live now, and what their children look like.
Even as a child, Brittany and Briana Dean dreamed that they would marry twin brothers and celebrate a double wedding. In 2017, 31-year-old girls came to the Ohio Twins Festival. There they met 34-year-old Josh and Jeremy Salier.
Josh and Jeremy later admitted that after several unsuccessful romances, they also decided to find a pair of twins.
“It was one of the most magical moments. For me, everything went in slow motion, like in a movie. We believe in kindred spirits and we all felt that instant connection,” Briana shared.
Six months after they met, the brothers simultaneously proposed to the girls and received the answer: “Yes!”
Brittany and Briana fulfilled their childhood dream – they married twin brothers on the same day. They decided to get married in Ohio, where they once met.
After the wedding, all the twins began to live in the same house. This unusual story was told by the TLC channel. The producers invited Brittany and Briana to the Extreme Sisters show. Only twins are filmed in it, they show what it’s like to have your own copy and be with her always together.
The show also included an important stage in the life of the sisters – they were able to get pregnant almost at the same time. The girls went to ultrasound together, chose clothes for babies, prepared for childbirth.
“We have lived through most of the important events in our life together: birthdays, getting a driver’s license, graduations and our double wedding. This would be the next big thing and we would love to experience it together,” said Brittany.
The babies were born three months apart. Brittany became the first mother, she had a son, Jett. Briana also had a boy, he was named Jax.
Boys are called “quaternary twins”. This term is used when two children are born less than nine months apart to twin mothers and twin fathers. Babies have common features: big blue eyes, blond hair, but in general they are different, and you definitely can’t confuse them.
Young parents talk about their routine in social networks. They make funny videos, share recipes and important family events. For example, the youngest Jax recently turned one year old.
Both couples continue to live together and raise children. The twins are sure that this approach will only benefit the kids.
