The teacher found a way to teach computer science to students without a computer. The main thing is desire

In February 2018, images of Ghanaian computer science professor Richard Okot went viral on all social networks. The pupils of the small village primary school he teaches did not have computers, so the African before each lesson drew various programs on the blackboard, such as Microsoft Word.

During the year, the teacher came to work several hours before the first bell and applied to his little students pictures of programs in detail with ordinary chalk on a blackboard. As it turned out later, the man did this so that his students could at least get an idea of computers: what it is for and how it works.

He has set himself the task of preparing the little ones for the next national computer exam. The only problem was the lack of computers at school. The school’s decision to participate in the exam was made at the national level.

And we didn’t even ask the school if it had at least one computer. Later, when the images appeared on the Net, the school received computers donated by different people, as well as MS.And thanks to all this today many students of this school think of IT as their future professional field.
