Randy Tenney had a rare disease for many years. Unfortunately, he could not emerge victorious from this fight and died of illness at the age of 54 in December 2019, but in one he managed to outwit fate and made his love for his wife Debbie truly immortal, writes Unilad.
Already feeling the approach of the end, Randy realized that he would not be able to live up to Valentine’s Day and please his beloved with the power of his feelings. The man decided to take care of a modest gift in advance, which became invaluable to Debbie: he prepared flowers for her with a note with the help of a loyal family friend who owns a flower shop.
The bouquet, along with a valentine, was delivered directly to Debbie’s house on February 14, 2020, but her daughter Jordan received it. The girl was very excited about the sudden gift from her deceased father, put the flowers in a vase on the table and called her mother, turning on the camera of her mobile phone. The woman put on her glasses, opened the envelope with the note, and as soon as she saw the familiar handwriting, she immediately burst into tears from her overwhelmed feelings.
On the Valentine’s card, Randy wrote a short declaration of love as if he had done it after death.

The Tenney family said that Randy always knew how to fully give himself to feel for all relatives. He and Debbie have eight children, 33 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, and each of them felt loved next to him. Despite the heavy work schedule, he always made time for all his sons and daughters.
“He has eight children, but thanks to him everyone felt like the only child in the family. His attitude towards life shone like the sun and radiated happiness, ”said Jordan, one of Randy’s daughters.
However, the man’s cheerfulness and friendliness extended far beyond his home: according to Debbie, everyone who knew him felt the warmth emanating from him. That is why Randy’s funeral was attended by more than 400 people – not only friends and relatives but almost everyone who came across him in life.
Debbie admitted that the moment she opened the note, she seemed to feel Randy’s presence next to her. The woman is grateful to her late husband for the fact that he managed to give her this feeling because there is nothing more pleasant in life than realizing that a person loved you to the very end – and even longer.
