Woman with infertility gave birth to 5 children in two years: How the family lives and looks now

The heroes of this incredible story are a couple from Texas – Robbie and Nadia Shervin. During the year, the newlyweds tried to have a baby, but to no avail. They asked for medical help, and the doctors made a disappointing prognosis. Nadia’s ovaries were covered with 37 cysts, which reduced the chances of pregnancy to an absolute minimum. However, fate decreed otherwise, and within 2 years she gave the family 5 wonderful babies. That’s how it was.

The couple did not lose hope and began a course of hormone therapy. A year of treatment was wasted. The doctors shrugged their shoulders and practically put an end to Nadia and Robbie’s desire to become parents. But what can stop people who, against all odds, want to have children? Nadya changed the hormonal drug, and during the first month of taking the woman became pregnant … And immediately with twins! Doctors called the result “stunning.”

In 2015, Keona and Amari were born by caesarean section. The Shervins were in seventh heaven, but were not going to stop. They decided that the girl needed a brother or sister.

The twins were one and a half years old, and Nadia continued hormone therapy. She was injected with the minimum dose of drugs in order to stimulate the body to give birth to one baby. But fate again decreed otherwise, and instead of the only desired child, the doctors found triplets on ultrasound.

The couple was offered to remove one embryo so that the other two had a better chance of developing, and nothing threatened Nadia’s body. The Shervins flatly refused: they could not imagine that they would have to choose which of the future babies to deprive of the chance of being born.

Either the unstoppable desire of the couple, or the forces of nature helped the woman endure 9 months without complications and give the world three more babies. In April 2017, at 35 weeks, Colette, Mila and their brother Noah were born. All children were absolutely healthy, at birth they weighed more than 2000 grams.

Doctors cannot explain the phenomenon of the “infertile” but so fertile couple. And Nadia and Robbie believe that 5 children is not the limit. Perhaps soon we will learn about replenishment in this unusual family.
