Marjorie Fiterman, 102 years old, and Bernie Littman, 100 years old,
have established a Guinness World Record as the oldest newlyweds, with a cumulative age of 202 years and 271 days. The couple encountered one other in a senior living home in Philadelphia subsequent to both experiencing widowhood.
They began their romantic relationship nine years before and wed in May 2024. Their wedding ceremony, conducted at their retirement home, was overseen by Rabbi Adam Wohlberg and included Jewish wedding rituals.
Littman has two daughters, four grandkids, and nine great-grandchildren from his previous marriage, all of whom were present at the wedding. Fiterman and her first spouse did not procreate.
This couple’s narrative illustrates that love transcends age boundaries, inspiring many others with their lasting partnership.
