Remy Schofield has covered 97% of his body with tattoos, spending an astronomical amount of money. Schofield himself noted that there’s no more room on his body for new designs. He surprised everyone by sharing a photo from his youth.
He says: “Currently, I go to the tattoo artist twice a week. In the last 7 years, these sessions have become very rare. Before, I went to the tattoo studio 5 times a week. I think I am the most tattooed person in the world, by a long shot.”
Over the years, 36-year-old Remy has spent more than 2200 hours and almost 415,000 Canadian dollars (over 20 million Russian rubles) on his tattoos.
“Remy,” as he calls himself, creates designs on his skin based on pre-determined sketches. His tattoo collection includes skulls, flowers, body parts, and various creatures.
His passion for tattoos led him to completely change his career. A former chef, he decided to open his own studio and use himself as a living advertisement.
Schofield regularly posts photos of his work on social media. He has over 80,000 followers who keep track of his new tattoos. Recently, he unexpectedly posted a photo taken in 2007, just before he got his first tattoo.
Remy emphasized that despite his controversial appearance, he doesn’t hear negative comments about himself, as all the criticism comes exclusively from the internet.
Some people on the street even ask him for autographs or to take a photo with him.
