On January 12, mother of three Analysia Beck woke up in the middle of the night and realized that she was having contractions. She immediately woke up her partner, and within minutes, the couple was rushing to the hospital.
En route, Analysia realized that she was in labor, so she asked her partner to stop at the nearest place where it was possible. That location happened to be the parking lot of McDonald’s.
The couple promptly called an ambulance, but due to a snowstorm, the doctors arrived a bit late.
“As soon as I found out the doctors were on their way, I started to push. The doctors literally caught the baby as he came out,” recalls the woman.
They named the boy Mika, but considering the place of his birth, the mother jokingly calls him “McFlurry,” after the ice cream sold at the restaurant chain.
