In June 2023, American TV star Kourtney Kardashian announced her pregnancy at her husband, drummer Travis Barker’s concert. It was her fourth pregnancy but the first within her marriage to the musician.
Prior to this, the couple had unsuccessfully attempted in vitro fertilization (IVF), and then the pregnancy occurred naturally. Most fans were delighted by this news, but there were also critics who questioned Kourtney for wanting to become a mother at the age of 44.
As part of a photoshoot for the cover of the Italian version of Vanity Fair magazine, Kourtney addressed the criticism directed at her: “These comments don’t affect me. I simply say: How can one question God’s plan?
Because that’s how I see this pregnancy, which happened when Travis and I weren’t even thinking about it, a year after we stopped our IVF attempts,” as quoted by the fashion publication’s social media page.
Kourtney has three children from her previous relationship with Scott Disick. In 2022, she married her longtime friend, Travis Barker, the drummer of the popular punk band Blink-182.
