Strangers seem to think I’m my child’s grandmother… It happened for the first time after the birth of my second son.

It was the first time this happened since the birth of my second son, at the passport office when we went to register him.
The employee handed over the documents and asked my husband why the grandmother brought the child.
My husband looked surprised and replied that I was the child’s mother. Frankly, I didn’t like it. I went home, looked in the mirror, and saw a tired woman with heavy bags and wrinkles under her eyes. I have to accept my appearance.

Since then, I’ve been mistaken for the grandmother again, but it doesn’t hurt as much as before. Now I have another problem. My husband is two years younger than me, manages to stay fit, and looks younger.

Now, I resemble the grandmother of our youngest son, and my husband seems to be the same age as our eldest son. I’m afraid he might leave me, but I can’t change anything at the moment.
