The boy’s creativity shocked users, leading them to search for the child to gift him a real Argentine jersey. A flash mob was organized in search of the boy, but finding him wasn’t easy.
Finally, they found the boy, who turned out to be Murtaza from Afghanistan. His father is a simple, poor farmer who cannot afford to buy a real jersey for his son.
“Our kids often sew shirts from packages because they simply have no other way out,” said the boy’s parent.
However, the dad hopes that Murtaza receives a jersey as a gift from his idol since he loves football and Lionel Messi so much!
Messi announced he was ready to share a jersey with the young fan unless, of course, they could find him.
Everything ended well. The jersey was delivered to the boy through UNICEF, not Messi’s jersey but a specially sewn tiny jersey of the Argentine national team. However, Messi put his autograph on it, making Murtaza’s joy boundless and envied by all the surrounding kids.
