“The rescue team pulled out a fox cub stuck in the wall, but then they behaved very strangely.”

This fox cub was just a tiny baby and found itself in a helpless situation that could have ended tragically, but kind people came to its rescue. The beginning of the story was like this: the fox cub got stuck between the walls of a supermarket, so tightly that it couldn’t get out.

Apparently out of great curiosity, the cub, named Ian, squeezed into the wall, perhaps trying to sniff something or for some other reason known only to him. However, he was too big to get out, and there he remained stuck. People who discovered him quickly contacted the rescue team, and firefighters promptly arrived at the scene.

In order to free him, they had to carefully cut the gap and pull him out. However, the story didn’t end there. The rescuers, initially acting nobly, later puzzled others with their actions.

They advised leaving the cub on the street so that its mother would come for it, and to avoid disturbing the little one, they attached a note instructing not to touch the cub. They followed this strange advice, leaving the fox cub in a box with a little water. Later, one of the workers became concerned and decided to check if everything was okay.

In the evening, he went to where the cub was left and saw that the box was no longer there. He immediately contacted the veterinarians, wanting to know if someone took the cub, but they said they didn’t know where the cub was, and it was likely taken by a fox mother.

You would probably agree with the absurdity of this assumption. Later, it was revealed that a passerby delivered the box to a wildlife rescue service. The staff mentioned that the cub is generally healthy but exhausted, partly due to sitting in the box for a long time. They will either keep him at the center or release him into the wild.
