In 2009, this woman gave birth to octuplets and set a world record, as all the newborns survived. Prior to that, she already had six children. The father of these children remains unknown. What the unusual children look like and what they are doing, as well as what the mother of many is up to 15 years later, can be found below.
Nadya Suleman became famous in 2009 when she gave birth to eight babies, becoming the first woman in the U.S. to survive such an incredible event. A few weeks after the octuplets were born, she and her children set a world record as all the newborns survived.
The father of Suleman’s 14 children, including the octuplets, is a sperm donor, whose identity remains unknown. In an interview with The New York Times in 2018, she mentioned that the children had not yet met him.
She said it was possible the children would meet him at 18, but she wasn’t sure yet. And it was not certain whether the biological father would want to meet them at all. This topic remains open, and the future of such meetings is uncertain.
Today, Nadya lives with her children in a three-bedroom townhouse in Orange County, California, along with two cats, Penelope and Mimi.
Despite all the difficulties she faced, Suleman continues her life, taking care of her children and striving for a better future for her family.
In 2021, Nadya announced that she was working on a book in which she would share her experience of motherhood and life with eight children.
The publication date of the book has not been announced yet, but this project became an opportunity for Suleman to tell her story and her views on what she has been through over the years.
