Today I was in a minibus. At the stop, two kids boarded. The boy approached to inquire about the fare, asking the driver, “How much for a ride?” The driver answered, “9.” “And for the sisters?” the boy asked. “15,” the man replied. And then the driver said…

I’m in shock, there’s nothing to say… Today, I was traveling by bus to Rivne and was greatly impressed by the driver.
Polite greetings, a thank you for every response, and during the journey, his gaze never left the road. Two kids boarded, a boy asked the driver about the fare, mentioning he’s 9 years old. The driver asked about the girl, who was 15, and then said, “Then it’s one ticket for both of you.” I was pleasantly surprised. Later, our bus stopped for a long-distance traveler with a breakdown.
The driver waived the fare, telling him to take a seat and saying the money might be needed for repairs.

At the next stop, a woman paid for her fare, but the driver refused, telling her to keep the money for necessities.

As the long-distance traveler got off, the driver returned his money. I’m in shock; I want to say a big thank you for being who you are. May there be more people like you in Ukraine. May God always protect you and your loved ones.
