They are called Abby and Cliff, and they saved the life of this dog during their visit to the Great Wall of China. The dog was inside a cage covered with snow, without even water nearby.
The couple looked at each other and decided to adopt the dog. They persuaded the dog’s owner to release him, which they successfully accomplished. It’s believed that the dog worked as a guardian in that area.
Abby and Cliff applied to Bunny’s Buddies, an organization that helps to adopt dogs from all over Asia. They took the dog to the vet, where he was groomed, and then they brought him to their home. The dog was initially confused because he had never felt so comfortable. He enjoyed lying on their soft bed.
The couple named him Wally because they found him at the Great Wall of China. Eventually, the dog transformed into a beautiful adult Tibetan Mastiff with gorgeous brown, fluffy hair. When they adopted him, he weighed around 75 pounds, but he now weighs 135 pounds.
Their family grew with the arrival of a baby, little Annika. She quickly formed a strong bond with Wally, who acted as her protector, always by her side as a big brother. Annika adored him.
Every morning, when Wally jumped on the bed, Annika would get excited to meet him. She would crawl to him, climb on him, and even share her food with him. Annika and Wally became lifelong best friends.
