Marie-Sophie Lacarrau has been on our screens for two years, taking over from Jean-Pierre Pernaut in 2021 to become the new face of TF1’s 1 PM news. It was a significant responsibility to assume, given the former presenter’s great reputation on the channel.

Impressed by the journalist’s personality, Nikos Aliagas expressed his amazement, saying, “I discover a woman as natural in life as on the air. Even though the topic of physical appearance is rarely discussed in Nikos Aliagas’s show, Marie-Sophie Lacarrau chose to delve into this subject. She shared a physical attribute she is particularly proud of and that reminds her of her parents: “My hair, clearly! My dad and mom have the same hair type as me.”
The physical feature that the famous anchorwoman appreciates the most about herself is her naturally curly hair. “You don’t see many curly hairs on the air. They are natural for me.” She even mentioned that someone once suggested she straighten her hair at the hairdresser, but it made her look very severe.
It’s interesting to note that this topic frequently arises in Marie-Sophie Lacarrau’s interviews, particularly during the broadcast of her first live television shows over twenty years ago. At the time, she joked about her appearance when her hair was less well-kept and much longer.
